Rajini pays his final respects

Popular media baron and the managing director of a Tamil daily Dina Thanthi B Sivanthi Adityan passed yesterday (April 19) at a private hospital in the city. The media baron has been battling ill health for nearly a month at the hospital. He was admitted for the treatment for brain hemorrhage.

Superstar Rajiniknath, we hear, made his way to Adityan’s residence earlier today to pay his respects to the departed soul. Prominent political figures also paid their respects on the occasion.

Adityan wore many hats and avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife and two children. He was also honoured with the prestigious Padma Shri Award in 2008.
