Veteran actor/director Manivannan passed away today morning. He was 58. He is said to have succumbed to heart attack. His family and friends are in a state of deep shock.

Manivannan was last seen last in his 50th directorial venture, Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA. Known for his satire, he has delivered a number of hits as a director and an actor.
Be it comedy roles, supporting characters or villain roles, he has excelled in every region he has ventured into.
