Yesteryear's when ace director-turned-actor R Sundarrajan is making a comeback to tinsel town with 'Chitraiyil Nila Choru' which is a story centred around a father's love for his daughter. The child's role will be played by Sara of 'Deiva Thirumagal' fame and the film also has Vasundara and Prashanth to its star cast.
Sundarrajan is known for his silver jubilee films like 'Vaidhegi Kaathirunthal', 'Mella Thirandhathu Kadhavu', 'Seethanam', and many more such movies. ' Chitraiyil Nila Choru' is based on the theme that it's not just mothers who can lovingly and successfully raise daughters, fathers can do so with equal dedication and success. Bhumika, who went on a sabbabtical post her wedding, is back with a powerful role in the movie.
The director has decided to make a return to direction after a 12-year gap and has roped in none less than the composer Isaignani Ilayaraja, for the music. Baby Sara is also a part of a multi starrer titled 'Vizhithiru' directed by Meera Kathiravan.
